Public Education and Outreach

The Florida BRACE Program works with state and local partners to increase public awareness of the health effects of climate and weather hazards. But community resilience to climate change involves building awarness about evidence-based public health interventions. So the FL BRACE regularly reaches out to members of the science community, educational community, as well as the general public.

Climate research and investigating the relationship between climate and health is rich with opportunities for engaging teachers, K12 students, and the general public. We participate in community events and are available to give presentations to groups of all ages.
